Retro synthpop / vaporwave marketing song and narrative MV for the December maid & bunny girl version. Wrote the full music brief, MV concept, and script end-to-end; supervised production across music, illustration, and motion.

Campaign concept & theme
The December version featured maid and bunny girl skins — both "service" archetypes. To prevent the two skin themes from creating conflicting messages, I shifted focus away from the costume identities and toward the act of serving: warmth, intimacy, and year-end sweetness. Core theme: ♥ Sweet Service for U ♥ / Bon Appétit — a sweet energy recharge for commanders after a hard year, expressed through the shipgirls' affection.

Music brief & sound direction
Style direction: retro synthpop / synthwave / vaporwave — holiday-gold nostalgia with the ambient sweetness and subtle sensuality that vaporwave carries naturally. Target feel: dreamy yet upbeat, with a hooky chorus built for clip shareability. Reference benchmark set at the level of ZZZ Caesar EP pinKing. Key parameters: ~3 min runtime; light and energetic tempo that avoids going too languid; earworm chorus; vocalist delivering a sweet-powerful-dreamy blend.

Lyrics direction
Briefed lyrics to sit at the intersection of maid-service imagery and love-game wordplay, tying to the MV plot where characters and commander play a board game together. Sample lines from the brief: "Fill my appetite / Win this love game / Tonight or never." Lyrics were to feel flirtatious and playful rather than explicit — warmth and game-mechanics as the dual register.

MV concept & narrative script
Setting: Azur Lane Maid Club — a neon-lit venue (vaporwave nebula reflected in the windows, lace-tablecloth board game table, neon sign "MAID PARADISE"). Plot: Commander arrives at the Club and plays a risqué Monopoly-style board game with four shipgirls in maid skins (Lexington II, Cheshire, Littorio, Mecklenburg). Each corner tile triggers a character-specific "service task" CG:

· Lexington 【Red Lips】— airwave-style cute expression + blows a kiss to camera
· Cheshire 【Milk】— serves warm milk, steam rises and forms a ♥ in the air
· Littorio 【Heart Omurice】— feeds commander a spoonful of omurice with a ketchup heart drawn on top
· Mecklenburg 【Whip】— turns back to camera, side-glances with star-shaped eyes

Commander appears as a game piece on the board; first-person POV for all CG moments to maximise immersion.

Visual & art direction
Primary style: moe/chibi for the board-game sequence. Secondary layer: Showa-era three-head-body proportions for stylised key segments to aid shareability. Asset scope defined: Q-version chibi tokens (3 expression variants each), full-body semi-chibi standing art with Spine rig splits, 4 key-scene CGs (first-person POV, L2D-ready splits), monopoly board with all task icons as independent layers. Platform safety note: avoid excessive fanservice that would trigger platform restrictions on X/YouTube.

Production timeline & vendor management
Total pipeline: 40–50 days. Coordinated across music composer, lyricist, guide vocalist, final vocalist, illustrators (chibi tokens, standing art, CG), and MV director bluebell. Milestones: instrumental demo → lyrics final → guide vocal → vocal master → illustration assets → MG production. Final deliverables: full MV, 15s teaser, sub-1-min vertical cut for TikTok, 30s chorus highlight, 2× cover art exports (1920×1280 + 1280×720).
